What do you need to import a Pocket list?
Pocket shut down on July 8, 2025. Mozilla closed exports on November 12, 2025, so you need a file you saved before that window ended. Importing the links cannot recover an article that the original publisher has removed.
What does a saved article look like in Omphalis?
In the example, Chelsea Rosenthal’s Mattering That It’s You is open in the Omphalis reader. You can move through the piece using the section map, open explanations over the text, and keep a note on a passage. Choose Listen when you want natural-voice narration.
What else should you know about moving from Pocket?
- Can I still export from Pocket?
- No. Mozilla shut Pocket down on July 8, 2025 and disabled data exports on November 12, 2025. You need a file you downloaded before the export window closed.
- Can I import a Pocket export I already have?
- Yes. Import your existing export into Omphalis. Access to each article depends on the original source; an exported link cannot restore a page that has been removed.
