Mozilla shut Pocket down on July 8, 2025. The May announcement first said you could export saves until October 8. Mozilla's help article later recorded that exports closed on November 12, 2025, and user data was queued for deletion. If you still have pieces you meant to read, the useful question is not where to store the list again. It is whether you can get through one of them.

Pocket was a read-it-later list: save an article from the web, then open a cleaner page when you had time. Mozilla shut that product down.
Save an article, a PDF, an EPUB, a Word doc, a talk or a podcast. It opens as a cleaned page with sections you can move through.
The list held the link. Coming back later still meant facing the original page, or a cleaned copy of it, without much help at the hard parts.
Open the source, use the section map to find your place, and open an explanation beside a passage that will not yield. You can also listen to a narrated version of the text.
Saves, archives, favorites, notes and highlights could be exported while the window was open. That window is now closed.
Leave a note on the passage that prompted it. Come back later and the reason it mattered is still next to the source.
